Whew! Yesterday I ran all day long. Trimmed my hair, printed postcard labels and stamps, went to the dentist, off to Staples, then home to print, print, print. I got all the flyers done and some school visit brochures to hand out on Thursday. The last three days have been a pretty big blur. We had this gorgeous weather, so Ry and I spent a lot of time outside enjoying it. Playground, riding his bike, blowing bubbles on the front porch, writing with sidewalk chalk. I also made a dent in the fight against the clutter. But it's been a boring week. A day and a half of teaching, blah blah blah. Testing season is upon us, so there probably won't be much work for me next week or so. I can't administer tests, and they don't hold workshops during testing. I remember March last year, and I didn't do much. April and May will be MUCH busier, since all the year end ( Read more... )

For another week of busy. Ad change. And tomorrow I also have a wedding to go to. Fortunately, the schools are all off most of the week, between Election Day and the NJ Teacher's Convention. The only day they're in class is Monday. So I'm not missing anything by rearranging my ad change.

Did I do much this weekend? Uh, well, I didn't leave the house, but you bet I did stuff. Made more waxed bears - Cinnamon Red Hot (they smell awesome!). I actually got to excersise too. Yay!

Yesteday I slogged all my candles to a craft fair. It was the fall festival for a local town, and the space was cheap. So I rouse myself early and drive out into the country, which was nice. It's a gorgeous day, but chilly. After fighting with my tent, and suffering some bruising, I finally get it up all by myself and set up in time.
